nrique was born in Merida, Venezuela, on July 28th
1958. Graduated in architecture at the University of the Andes
1985 in 1990. In 1990 – 1994, he moves to France where he
studies engroving in L’Space Croix-Baragnon of Tolouse-France.
In
his work, we perceive the lyricism of a visual music that fits
together perfectly. His paints come out from his pure mind with
harmonizing colors (characteristics of abstract impressionism),
rhythm of colors different intensities and a treatment of the
substance that transforms the theme. A metamorphosis surrounded
by the theme, the technique and the space, deep distortions,
thick strokes, gestic spirit, as the actual act of pointing.
Let’s just say the Enrique is very close to nature’s heart.
Enrique has done quite a number of group exhibitions both in
Venezuela and abroad as well as individual exhibitions. He has
won numerous awards dating back since 1987. He still has a lot
of art to offer the world.
