na was born in
Venezuela into a large family full of creative energy. Two of
Ana’s brothers are accomplished artists both in Venezuela and
Internationally. She grew up surrounded by art in every from and
as a natural course chose to become herself. She married a
Trinidadian and has been residing in Trinidad and Tobago for the
past three decades.
Self taught, Ana
has worked in pottery for a few years, mosaic building, oil
painting, clothing design, soft furnishings and more recently
has picked up jewelry making.
Ana’s daughter,
Gabriella Beston, is an up and coming artist in the island, and
is also inspired by her work.
Ana has taken part
in a few exhibits, and displays her art at Horizons Art Gallery
or at her home.
